apparently the grip screw is loctited to the bushing and I can;t get the screw out
Anyone know how to work around this - get the screw out without mangling the bushing?

Using the bushing tool right? Apply a little heat. Just a little and it should break free. Hopefully somebody didn't use red loctite

Glad I could help. Make sure you clean the threads on the frame real good before reinstall.
