| Hey everybody, I have just about finished my 1911 build but I have a few problems to fix before I will be satisfied with it. One, I need to file and polish the ramp so the round will go into battery. This is pretty straightforward so i won't ask for advice there. The thing that is a bit confusing to me is the sear or disconnector seems to keep catching. I will sometimes have to pull the trigger three times before it fires. Should I be looking at the sear or the disconnector for this solution? Any help would be great, Thanks in advance! |

Also polish (on a flat stone with oil) both sides of the disconnector "V" where the bow touches the disconnector and the disconnector touches the sear. |
