I like the grips, but I do agree they look out of place on this gun. It is all a matter of taste, plus they can be easily swapped out for something else to dress up that 1911 properly (the classic diamond panels would be just fine on it).

Look at the front of the slide back from the sight, you can see where the slide metal was discolored from attaching the front sight!  LOL.  Good work!  No way that gun is worth that!
