This is my personal opinion, so it's worth what you paid for it...
But I don't see what all the hype is about. I spent a long day on the range with some MARSOC guys and shot nearly every one of these that was on their team. I'd take my SA Operator over their issued Colts every time. YMMV |

YMMV Can you give us some more details as to why? Do you have the TRP Operator with the bull barrel? |

The Operator may weigh less. That's an advantage if you plan on CC.
I have an old style RG and an M45A1 from the CCS. Both excellent shooters. For the $$, the new style RG is a winner. I'd love to spend a day shooting Springfield's and Colt's! My favorite Springfield is the Champion, but it's no where near the RG's or Operator. 
If you aren't committed to the rail concept, look at the Colt Special Combat Government.
