.460 Rowland Clark conversion on full size Para Expert.  I am wondering if this load is just too weak, but it doesn't feel like it.

255gr lswc over 9.7gr Power Pistol at 1150fps.

I've had trouble with these rounds and thought the pistol might need to be broken in, but I'm getting frustrated.  I MAY have limp wristed, but I don't think so.

Ejection was 20-25ft at 4 o'clock.

This FTE occured at round 25, 2 rounds into a full 8rd factory checkmate mag.

Five of the other spent brass were dinged.

Seems to me that the extra length of the Rowland bass is causing a problem, but my Google search got nothing.

I see a lot of brass marks on the front of the ejection port cut out.  Maybe it needs to be opened up towards the front?

Could be a few things. Load, but I think you're right if your grains are right. Next thing to me would be recoil spring.  Too heavy for the load?

Check thar your extractor tension is not too tight.  Check that your ejector is still properly fixed it  position. As noted, recoil spring strength might be an issue.d
You know, too, since you are shooting a .460....by the looks of your pic, you could be getting an inertial feed due to recoil. In that case you may need  extra strength magazine spring.
