I have an opportunity to buy a RO that's only had 2 mags shot from it. He has all the original accesories that came with it. He went to a dealer to see what they'd give him trade and I told him to call me and give me a shot at it before trading it.  What is a fair price on such a lightly used RO?

Thanks

Well Buds has them for $688 and free shipping + make offer (usually $10 or so off).

So I would say $575-600 for a used one.

The dealer told him 550-6 trade. He offered it to me for 575.

Although I hate adjustable sights, if it was like new, I'd fo on $575

Then send to SACS for some loving.

Oh wait, I did.

I thought 575 would be a good deal. I don't want to screw him as he's a good friend and using the money toward a new gun.

That is a good deal. I recently did the same for a friend. Gave $600 for a loaded.

Went ahead and made the deal. 1911s are addicting.

I love the hell out of mine! Bone stock too and it eats anything I load it with, also very accurate, at 35yards I can get head shots all day long (on paper).

Elephant or grasshopper?

Not sure I fallow. I was using man sized silhouettes in a indoor range.
