I originally posted here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_5_14/152568_TTT_Impulse_Buy.html but then thought maybe the 1911 section would be the best place.

A few weeks ago I bought a TTT from my neighbor. He got a Wilson Combat a year or so back and didn't use his 777 anymore, so he shot me an offer. Sort of on an impulse I bought it and finally had a chance to take it to the range today. It works great; functioned flawlessly for the 80 or so rounds I sent through it. It came with the two 8 round factory mags and two 7 round CMI's (that I forgot to bring with to try). For the works I got it for $675. Like I said, it was sort of an impulse buy. I really like it, but was just wondering if if I got a fair deal? I did a quick search on Gun Broker to try to see but it was hard to tell what was used and what was new so I sort of gave up.

They ran new for about 1100-1200, but Sig doesn't make them anymore.

It's not bad for what it is.

I think you stole it for that price...I believe they were in the 900-1000 range...higher was the STX with more fluff...

All SIG 1911s are the same but for the fluff (add ons, coloring, finish, sights) and I believe if it runs, you did very well...you can't find an XO (their entry level 1911 type pistol) for that amount...is yours a GSR???...GSR Revolution or SIG 1911 version???

I believe it is the 1911 version. I can't seem to find it on the Sig website. It is a stainless frame with a black slide, stainless barrel, black controls and stainless hammer. Sort of looks like the STX on their website but mine has a black barrel bushing, black controls and the slide serrations are different.
