Picked this up last Friday.Hope to get it out this weekend for some fun.
It is extremely tight,no rattles at all.The only thing I have noticed is the trigger pull feels just a little gritty but not horrible.
I took the wood grips off and through on some Hogue grip for the time being.

I have an Ed Brown magwell on order that should be here any day.As far as grips go,I just can't make up my mind.I want something in tan or a light gray color.
VZs are at the top of the list, but I just can't make up my mind.

Congrats on the LW Operator. I love mine, tack driver. And keep us posted on getting the trigger tuned. I've been thinking getting some trigger work done but don't know how/where/how much that would cost.

Try the Springfield custom shop as their prices aren't bad and I only hear good things about them.

I found a great solutions for trigger work. I install a sear/hammer combination and can adjust it myself.  I use a Karl Lippard A3 hammer and sear. Buy using that you can install the parts and adjust yourself with no downtime at gunsmith.  I pick them up locally but you can get them on a E bidding site.

Now if the trigger assembly is dragging in the frame channel that is another problem. But I do not think that Springfield would have that problem.

Nice pistol.  Personally, I like the gray Mil Tac (or VZ or whoever makes 'em) black and gray grips they put on the TRP new.

That one is the next one I'm trying to find.It took almost a year to find mine locally.
I plan on putting at least 500 rounds through it before I do anything with the trigger. My SA Loaded was the same way and it smoothed out after 200 or so rounds and the new magwell with a 19lb. Hammer spring.

These are the grips at the top of my list right now.they are VZ Diamondbacks, and I really like the
1 Ass To Risk logo.
