For the love of all that is holy and good in this world can anyone tell me where I can find a compensator for a threaded barrel. I have searched high and low for something that the only thing you have to do is simply screw it on to your threaded barrel on your 1911 but have turned up notta. Oh and let's not get into the whole "compensators do nothing for the 45 ACP" lecture they do, do something even if it is just minimal. Thanks in advance for any help.

EGW
may require some bluing and or fitting.

I know when my comp was installed the slide was machined at a -1 deg angle and the sides of the comp came a little oversized.

check Brownells... they have several listed... as Gregory commented, you may need a clearance cut if you want a cosmetically pleasing fit... any local USPSA smith should be able to build one...
