Hi all,

Got myself a question that I would like an opinion upon. I can get my hands on a Rock Island Armory 1911 45 for 387 out the door. Its the basic a1 government model. I know Rock Island is a nice cheaper gun but didn't know if anybody had an idea of price point on one of them.

Thanks.

That is a good price on a RIA. The cheapest I have seen one is $329 at Buds on Black Friday.

That price sounds good for a RIA.

I paid 325 for mine a couple years ago, it was a clean used one.

Got my High Standard officers model, which is Armscor/RIA for $300 out the door at my local gun store. Love it. Great carry 1911 for less than a used plastic pistol.

$387 out the door is a fair price
I jumped on the $349 (shipped) Black Friday Tactical from Bud's. Was a very good deal.
