Alright guys I need a bit of help deciding...I've got a Wilson Combat discount certificate that expires in a few days....I don't have a particular "need " at the moment...but I'm not one to let opportunities go to waste either.  If you could pick just one....Which would it be?  Since I don't have a particular use in mind, consider versatility, value, and just overall enjoyment.  Your help is much appreciated!

I'd probably opt for a CQB in 9mm or 10mm/40.

I got the Ultralight Carry, because I wanted a lightweight alloy-framed 1911 and Wilson has a great reputation for standing behind their products over the long haul.

I used one of those certificates on a CQB Tac LE.  Saved a pretty good bit with it.

CQB in, what else, .45 ACP.

Add the options of a speed chute and pick up a flat wire recoil spring and rock it. I also went with the flush cut, reverse crown barrel for show and picked up a number of ETMs. I went with black over grey armor-tuff but black on black is sexy too. I elected for the combat pyramid rear (tritium yellow) and green tritium front site, but lots of options there.

Whatever you decide on, prepare yourself. The experience, for me at least, was different that any other hand gun I've ever owned or shot.

My wife just ordered a CQB in .45acp.  They gave her a 12-24 month build time.

If you don't have a Compact in the stable, that would be my first choice.

Loving the pics  as I'm still undecided about the finish.  The flush cut reverse cone barrel was definitely an option I was considering..any others you guys got or wish you did? Since i"ll have 12-24 months to second guess my choices once ordering..haha

I have the exact same pistol, but a Compact size.

Like the Hell out of it.  I bought it for the girlfriend.   Apparently a $3K pistol is not romantic...

I really don't like paint on a $3000 1911.   I would go stainless or hard chrome personally.

You could win me over with one....well maybe two.. I have standards.

I do not like blue on a pistol I am going to do more than look at, my skin just eats it.

I have not totally bonded with mine as I went with a 9mm and it is a great gun, but I just prefer to carry my M&P.  If I was going to have a 1911 let alone a Wilson that I am not going to use a ton I wish I had picked up a .45.

I do however think it is one of the better made 1911s I have owned out of all the name brands(Guncrafter/Nighthawk/Baer/Springer Pro), some had other things better but this one has everything just so.

Win Win.  She likes it, you get massive points...she does'nt, you can say you tried AND you have a brand new pistol.  Maybe ill order my wife one as well and hope she doesn't find it as romantic as I do

If you didn't plan to shoot it like crazy I would go for a 4 inch alloy frame. What an ideal carry piece. I have a 5 inch steel 1911 for range use and have a Champion operator for everyday carry. Some day I will get the Wilson ultra light commander.

I guess you cant see it in the pic I posted, but mine has the reverse crown flush cut barrel.  I really like it.  I would also really recommend the countersunk slide stop option.

1911 in 9mm are fun as hell to shoot, I have a springer and have never fired a Wilson in any caliber but I would imagine it would be awesome.
