I was browsing through their website and they offer a modificationg for debris and lubrication grooves into the rails, bushing, and top of slide.

Anyone ever done this before?

I wanna say Ive only seen one pistol with that type of work done, but do no remember where I saw it.

I kinda like the idea.

My TRP could use a slight overhaul.

JMB didn't design the 1911 with these mods.  Any good reason they were added after the fact?

Chuck Rogers does them as well as I recall. Same principle as the "sand cuts" on a FAL in theory.

Ask a custom gunsmith why you should have them and you'll get a plausible explanation. That said, 99% of 1911 owneres will only drain their wallets for this feature. The remaining few don't pay for it themselves.
