Hey guys. Quick question I've got a full rail SA operator not the TRP got it new right when they came out. I've been thinking about thinning out a few guns and I think it might be on the chopping block. What should I ask for it? I can't seem to find any others for sale.  Thanks in advance for the help.

1000-1100 seems to be the going rate IIRC.
Is it a Milspec or Loaded operator?
Milspec has GI sights and the loaded has Novaks

Pics and more information on it would be helpful. SA Operators go anywhere from $900-$1100. But, without some pictures and some more information (model number, number of rounds, etc) it's going to be hard to put an exact number on it.

ETA: Zaskar beat me to the punch.

The Mil-Spec Operators are fairly rare and bring nice coin nowadays.

I would let one go for less then $1K+

It's worth more than $1,000 - $1,2000

You could probably get around $1,500 for it since they're not popping up for sale everywhere and people want this Model.

Really, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Put it on the EE for exactly what you want for it and take it from there.  Good luck.

I've seen a couple on gunbroker.com go for around $1500 in the last 6 months.  The price will depend on the condition of the gun and if you've got the original box, mags, grips, and paperwork

I got 1650 for my used TRP. I kept my loaded like you have.

I wish I would have bought a million of these damn things. Pretty sure I used to sell them for 900 in my shop when they were new.

I was going to say 11-12 but some here think they are worth more. Maybe start at 1500 and go from there

Just remember too, the price people pay on gunbroker isn't always the price people will pay on forum classifieds.

Local shop had a used milspec operator and it sold for $1250 before taxes within six hours of being out out on the shelf. It had the original box, manual, and one extra "cheapie" mag. It was fired but it had no scratches or dings, looked new...
