I seem to recall that Cylinder and Slide made a spring steel extractor and that offered better sustained performance over other extractor options.
Is this the case or am I off the mark here?

Thank you.
I looked at the C&S website and it wasn't noted to be spring steel and wanted to confirm before I buy.

I have one in my custom Colt Series 80 and it made a huge improvement in the pistol's reliability, it has run 100% since installing the C&S extractor.

Excellent, thank you. That is originally where I read that C&S extractors were made of spring steel.
