You need a gi guide and rod.

Check out the Dawson Tool Less guide rod from Dawson Precision. I have them in a couple of my bushing barrel 1911s and highly recommend them.

Would not trust the Dawson. While I do not care to use a FLGR,
The two piece Wilson would be the only one I would think of using.

i agree, the dawson looks like it would break really easy. i am using a flgr because it makes disassembly for cleaning so much easier.


i have used gi, and flgr, i have one gi,  but i am building my supressor host with a flgr.

Put a Wilson Combat in my GM Colt and I've never had a problem and is easy to take down.
