Sight options for RIA Compact > 1911 Discussions

I just got a new RIA Compact. It has the small GI style sights. What are my options for replacements?

I have a Rock Island compact that lost it's front sight the first time I shot it. My gunsmith replaced both with some old Colt commercial 3 dot sights.

Thanks. I've been looking around, looks like the tooling is the expensive part, so I think I'll take this one to the gunsmith as soon as he gets my S&W finished.

Well, I don't have a compact, I have a Commander, but it's got some Trijicon Novak-cut night sights on it, and I absolutely adore them.

Super nice for shooting in a dimly-lit indoor range.

Mine are green/green.

I replaced mine with trijicon night sights. They sit low and are very easy to acquire when I pull the weapon up to fire. The green glow from the sights are easy to see at night as well.
