Im no expert here but wanted to share since I finally had time to shoot my Tisas 1911. I just wanted a beginners 1911 for as little as possible.
If you want to know anything specific i'll give a no b.s. answere but let me know what exactly you need (pics?) for im still learning. but for long post short: Shes ugly as far as things like the beavertail fit, thumb saftey etc. Its just a little cobby is all, but fully functional. The true black finish on the other hand kind of hides some of the sin as it is very even and nice. Things like the barrel bushing for example, are obviously not to tight around the barrel as much as it probably should/could be. the slide to frame is really the only thing I felt was pretty good. when I check the fit I really only get a Very slight "squish, squish" sound from the lubricant, pretty tight i'de say but im new here guys. 60 or so rounds went just great. very accurate pistols much more then me, esp. cause I was nervous at first. I was very surprised by the accuracy by distance! First cleaning after the firing I basicly just knocked of fouling and a bit of finish that got broke in. It came off evenly and consistantly. That is to say, It seems the full length of the rail etc. wore (just ever so little to create a black dustiing) evenly which I would think is good. best said I suppose is: for 413 dollars or whatever is was to get it here doesn't get you a supermodel but function seems great and internals are not half assed, only some fit and finish issues to me, none of which so far matters. I wIsh I had more rounds to report on but I don't yet. Really Im happy cause I told myself I wanted a functional gun thats ok to use and scratch, etc. + im a fng w/ these anyway. I actually love it and would buy it again, but definatly wonder if I should have tried something of the RIA's, but as strange as it is that finish on this gun is truly growing on me, its much different in person. What I want would be another one, one of each! I cant stand coming in here and seeing all the photos and stuff though of everyones, Im in trouble. |
