Hey guys.

A few months ago, my wife got me an ATI Titan officers ACP style 1911 for my birthday.  It's been a great little gun and I've really enjoyed shooting it and after getting it broke in, I plan on using it as a carry piece.

The problem I had in my last range outing is that every once in a while, the extractor didn't extract the spent casing.  (Maybe 1 in 20- 30 rounds)

When I got home and took it apart to inspect, I found that the extractor hook was already dinged up and the hook was getting rounded.  I may have 400- 500 rounds through it.

I looked at Brownells and midway for a replacement but all I could find was "1911 Extractors", nothing specific for the officers length gun.

Are all extractors the same for the GM, Commander and Officers?  Or did I just not look hard enough?

Like I said, it's been a great little gun but I don't want to carry it if it isn't 100% reliable..

Any standard 1911 extractor SHOULD work.  I have the exact same model and swapped almost every internal part with Ed Brown parts and the only thing needing a bit of smithing was the hammer, otherwise, its all almost drop in with Ed Brown.

P.S. dont get the Hardcore Extractor from ed brown. the standard 70 series will do just fine :)

And enjoy, it's my favorite carry gun I own and probably cost the least amount of money even after all the upgrades
