Well, I have read all the complaints/problems about Kimber, but for some reason this one was just calling my name. Especially when the shop dropped the price a little more while I was looking at it. Right now I have a SR1911 and a S&W 1911. Both full size. Really wanted a commander sized SR1911 but who knows how long I would have to wait for one to come up.
Got this for $750 plus tax today. Pro Carry II. Good deal?

Took it out this evening and ran 100 rounds through it. 50 Prvi and 50 Winchester Ranger which will be my carry ammo. CRIED about the fact the ammo is gone.  But the gun ran GREAT. Not a single malfunction. 100 rounds isn't much but I think I am really going to like this one.
