Thanks man,now if I can just lay my grubby paws on a SA LW Champion Operator all will be right in my world. Yhese are the Grips I'm going to get. VZ Gunner Grips |
|
Congrats on the purchase. I picked one up not too long ago myself. Just a word of advice though, it doesn't like Wilson Combat 47D mags.
Upgrades so far: VZ Operator II grips - Had to take the dremel to these so they won't interfere with the safety, and to get them to mount flush with the magwell installed. Wilson Combat full length guide rod - Wasn't a fan of needing an allen wrench to break the gun down. Wilson Combat magwell - Mounts underneath the grips to the grip screws. Sits in there nice and tight and you can't tell the difference. Excuse the cluttered coffee table http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/theteflondon/20130207_170309_zps909a24fb.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/theteflondon/20130207_170336_zps943a60a5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/theteflondon/20130207_170349_zps32fba7ce.jpg |

Got my new 1911 today.SA Loaded, man I love this thing.Gonna take it out this weekend and run a couple hundred rounds through it.The thing I like about it the most are the night sites.they are great for a factory set.Now off to get me a new set of grips and it will be GTG,at least for a while,I can't leave anything stock for long. http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q712/COGGUNFIGHTER/1911_zpsa07d402d.jpg http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q712/COGGUNFIGHTER/19111_zpsd91e9b6f.jpg Enjoy.
