I have a Ed brown special forces.. Just spec'd out a
a fusion 1911 custom built Hunter Tactical XL Elite in 45 acp Ion Bond DLC on frame & Slide and Ion Bond DLC Steel accent small parts.. Want to know if I'll be Disappointed.. Any comments will be appriciated Mark |

Fusion is the same guy who built the 1911's for Dan Wesson which he owned at the time. I have heard some complaints about some guns being finicky. My buddy has a long slid hunter in 10mm. It runs fine and is very accurate, but it has a sizable gap between the main spring housing and the beaver tail which I think for the money should look better. |

You have to know 1911s really, really well and you have to have all of the proper tools to do a 1911 build from raw parts. One of Bob's builds however, should rock out of the box. |
