So I was attempting to adjust an older shooting star follower on one of my CMC mags, and it snapped in two. I have had problems with the SS followers failing to lock my slide back on the last round before this. I have had cheap mags with polymer followers that have been more consistant than the SS. Sooooo does anybody know if followers are interchangable, and if so what product do you recommend?

Yes, Wilson Combat does make replacement spring and follower kits.  You can order direct or through Brownell's.  I have these in my CMCPower mags and they work great.  Previously, I tried the Tripp kits but they were way too stiff and unreliable.
