| Anyone know a good 1911 Smith in the Mid West that will remove the series 80 crap from my Colt 1991A1 and won't make me wait 9 months to do it ? Thanks |

Brownell's part No. 876-011-780WB.
The part is easy to install if you can detail strip your 1911. If I can do it, anybody can. a-bare |

Not trying to hijack OP... but is that part or something like it required if I remove my schwartz system from my kimber? No. I'm told you can simply drop in a Series 70 firing pin and leave all the Swartz parts in place. Never tried it myself, though –– I'm a glutton for punishment. |
