Looking to add a second 1911 to the freefire household and two models keep popping up Springfield TRP and Kimber SIS.

Any opinions on either? +-? Which one would you pick and why?

Info
So far I have a SA Range officer that's had night sights added so the next in line is intended to be a carry gun with increased accuracy over a shorter barreled 1911.

Trp hands down

Really the SIS looks dumb.

TRP. I've had both. the SIS left...I still have the TRP. Actually that's wrong. I sold that particular TRP, but it has since been replaced with another TRP

The SIS is a very unremarkable gun, much like most Kimbers (for the price).  The TRP is nicer in every way.

Ll of these opinions reaffirm what I wanted tO hear, theTRPit is!

In typical arf.com fashion I should carry both, right?

Only if you plan to drop the SIS abomination in a river later

The SIS would have been a great idea if it weren't for the useless and dumb slide grasping cuts.  Other than that, there's a lot to like about it.

I have both and the TRP seems to have to many feed problems. the SIS is ok and is fairly accurate, but in the end if you were to choose one, go with the TRP, I just hope yours runs better.
