I have a Rock Island tatical 9mm
I want to detail strip and I can't get the Ambi saftey off. Tried the halfway between on and off and wiggle method will not budge. any suggestions would be very helpful Thanks. |

Its tuff but the left side just comes out like a normal safety. Get it in the right position then take a thin screw driver blade and work between the safety and frame. It will pry off. The right side slides up past its retaining pin and pulls out.
I worked mine with a file a little to get it back together. |

The ambi safety will be the first thing I replace when I recieve my Tactial. Then I'll have to replace the sear pin for one the sits flush. I replaced the ambi safety on my warrior twice.
