| I have about 500 rounds thru it and had to make it my own. My first 1911 and am a little disapointed that i can't shoot it as well as my revolvers. My last outing i was shooting about 1foot groups offhand at 25 yards. i also had my .44 629 pc with and was shooting groups at least half that. I will practice some more next weekend and report back with some pics. The barrel bushing is really easy to take off and sloppy with the barrel. I don't have anyting to compare it with but its not what i expected when taking it down.http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv104/magicmatt/ro.jpg[/img] |

sweet looker!
when you say the bushing is sloppy do you mean when the barrel is in battery(ready to fire) or when the barrel is in your hand w/the bushing on it? the bushing on my SA compact is so tight i need a wrench to remove it; it's also very accurate! eta, if possible, shoot at a closer distance so that you get a better picture of what's happening. maybe shoot from a rest or bag to make sure the gun is "on". |

My RO requires a bushing wrench to remove, and is rather tight on the barrel. Groups the best of my 1911s, but it also has the tighest fit of all my 1911s. If you can't group 2.5 @ 25 from a rest with quailty ammo, something is wrong.
1. ammo type? 2. rest? 3, flinching? 4. whats is the differences in barrel od to bushing id? (eta at the lock up point) |
