| just bought a new colt xse and after getting it home something didnt feel right and I figured it out, the beavertail is swept down and no memory bump, I just double checked Colts website and it shows it to be more upswept with a memory bump, did someone screw up on the assemby line or was this an option. |

You do not have a "beavertail." You have a "duckbill." My XSE Combat Commander which I bought about a year ago (factory new) came with a duckbill also. I installed a beavertail in mine. |

good customer service...as for the duckbill...I actually like mine and have left it as is...glad Colt is taking care of you. Bill My Colt Defender came with a duckbill, and on THAT gun, I actually like the duckbill better for some reason, so I am leaving it as is.
