| I recently picked up a Kimber Pro Ten 45 and want a couple more magazines. It's a commander size double-stack and holds ten rounds. Anyone know a source? |

I have a BP10/ Bul5 frame Kimber that came with a 10 round factory mag by MecGar purchased during ban time. The genuine Kimber hjcaps were stupid in price when you could find them.
For the BP10/Bul5 frame you can use factory Para P14 mags with a little file work on the mag catch slot . That's all I use in my Old BP10/Bul5 frame. They hold 14 in 45 acp. have been flawless in 10,000+ rounds this gun has been run hard. I do have 1 MecGar Para P14 mag works fine also but down 1 in capacity. For the newer BP10 II which is a Kimber frame you can get P14 MecGars and modify the slot. MecGar also makes mags to fit the Kimbers which is the factory mag. They hold 13 in 45 acp. They are harder to find and do not need to be modified. Also work fine in the old BP10/Bul5 frame. If still in production? The BP10 II has a smaller mag well and if you get a factory Para mag in it, it will be very tight and not drop free. Hope this is clear and helps
