Sorry my link isn't hot.
Check out this setup, competition or open carry would prob be the best uses. It looks super nice though. https://www.kirkpatrickleather.com/product/h_wbr.html |

I had several Kirkpatrick holsters before.....was not thrilled with them as time went on. I currently have two Kirk belts that have held up...but the holsters did not retain their retention capabilities. The leather seemed too soft.
I much prefer Kramer, Sparks, Rosen, or DelFatti. Kirkpatrick is ok...but not on line with the premium holsters I ended up selling my Kirkpatrick holsters |

The El Paso in the middle really looks like the old Audley (I think they were called) holsters.
As far as the quality of Kirkpatrick's gear, I really can't speak on it from personal experience. But I have heard more good than bad. That said, a holster with retention problems is a potential deal-breaker for me. I still like the look of it. Prob not the most practical holster for me, but it sure is pretty. You're right Lumpy, it would be nice for field use also. I like the M.S. Summer Specials too, but since we are still in the battle for CCW here in Wisco, I really don't NEED an IWB holster right this second. |
| Kirkpatrick stuff is good in my experience, but I will say one thing. I did find that the holsters in the pictures must be the best ones they’ve ever made. Now, don’t get me wrong, the TSS I got for my G19 was functional and a very nice piece of leather. I bought it to use, not take pictures of. But it had a few blems and stuff that some might object to. In the end it didn’t fit me well so I returned it for a refund. A guy here at work was looking for an OWB for his Beretta 90-TWO (God, I hate that name) and I recommended the TSS. He bought it and loves it, but the finish on his was the same as mine. Good, but not show quality. |
