Heeeellloooo Tack driver!

I'm not sure what they did to it, since on the invoice it just says 'repaired', unlike last time where there was an itemized list of what all they had to do- But I don't care. I did have a tritium front sight installed while it was there.

The thing shoots like a laser beam if I do my part, putting the bullets right on top of each other at point of aim.

Thank you Springfield Armory, I'm a happy camper.

I just bought one last week, have been looking at it sitting in the pretty blue box just waiting to stretch its legs this coming Wed.

I simply love the thing, as it's my first 1911 and I already own an XD40.  I will say one thing, it's tighter then hell.  I would think about 500 rounds later that 800 pound spring would be a little easier to work with.

Either way, I am a true Springfield fan.

That's my story too.  It's my favorite gun ever.  Just looks and feels fabulous.  They do loosen up after a few hundred rounds.  Shooting the steel is the most fun I have with my clothes on.
