Is it possible to replace or adjust pressure required to release mag?

Buy two extra springs. Remove one coil on one spring and install. Fire a mag load through the gun. Repeat until the "feel" is right and the mag does not drop free during firing. You have now achieved Nirvana. The second spring is in case you dork up the first one. |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Yes, both Brown and Wolff may extra and reduced power springs. If you are going to use a reduced power spring (I do) know two things 1) there is stronger potential to accidentally drop the mag from bumping the mag button, 2) you will want to reduce the left side interior on the mag button. The reason is you will be able to press the mag release into the frame deeper and the left side will then drag on the magazine causing it to not drop free. |
