Hey all,

I need to get a present for a good friend.  He works at a local sporting goods store, so a gift certificate there would be kind of lame.

I was thinking of maybe some custom 1911 grip panels.  He has a few sets of nice grips, you know, the miltac, the sunday going to meeting grips, the exotic woods, etc.

Does anyone know of somewhere that maybe I could get something custom made with his initials in them or something?  That might really make them special.

I'm looking for something you guys would personally suggest, hopefully somewhere you have dealt with before.

Thanks,

Blade

You might want to give Esmeralda a call.  I think her website is www.Esmeralda.cc. or google Esmeralda grips. She makes high-end catalog grips, but also does custom work, I believe.  Be prepared to spend at least $100.  Beautiful stuff.
