Just got this and wondered what the general thought was on these. Seems nice,no signs of galling like I have heard of some AMTs. Its in about 98% condition and seems hardly used at all. Cycles by hand just fine and no I have not taken it out yet. Seeing if anyone else has one, what they have done with them, and what I should address if anything. I always see AMTs but this is the first IAI Ive seen. Thats why I got it. Thanks again.

I would check if the hammer doesn't fallow the slide, so it will not ND when first time loaded.

I have AMT( without AMT in the moon shaped figure on the slide) made in Sturgis and I had to gut it out because of the above problem. Now it's safe.

Already thinking laser system 1984 style. The hammer does not fall when the slide falls. It does have a commander like hammer original to it, not like Arnolds on a AMT. iAi target logo on frame, slide, and grips. I did clean up the contact point of the hammer to slide. Had small pitting from casting. Does anyone know if they made more iAis or AMTs of these?
