Just got my first 1911 in a trade and I wanted to ad a MSH/Magwell to the pistol. Its a SA Loaded older model I'm very pleased with this gun its accurate and smooth. It will be used as my Combat Competition gun and I would like to ad a nice 20-25 lpi MSH and a magwell to it.
I think I'm just gonna go with a "bolt on" model not a welded/soldered model. So what I wanna know is what you guys run, how you like it, and where did you get it from. If you've got more than one I'd also like to know what you think makes brand X better than brand Y and so forth. Thanks Joshua |

Also for guidance:
GI welded floorplate mags require a thumb down the well to seat, Wilson combat mags with lo-profile steel/alum pads fit about flush, and 47Ds with standard bumper sticks out enough to be "heeled in" flawlessly I'm running mostly Ed Brown 88 mags right now I think they'll be able to be "heeled in" pretty well too. |
