Hey guys...a few few weeks ago I put up a thread asking for a little advice on choosing another 1911 for my collection...l've decided to pursue a SA Custom Professional. While the Wilson guns are very nice...the Professional is what I really want.
So, I've been perusing here, there, and anywhere else I can think of to find one. No luck. No big deal...but I'd sure like to find one in the next few months. I've seen some comments in forums about folks finding them in a matter of a few days...and others ended up waiting for SA to build them one. I can survive the wait...but I'd sure like to actually get my hands one during the 100th anniversary of the pistol. What can I say...I'm impatient!
That being said...anyone seen one for sale recently? I've done the "e-mail notification thing" at most of the big vendors for if/when it come back into stock. I've also been on Gunbroken, Gunsamerica, and a few other firearm sales sites in the last few weeks with no luck either. Part of me thinks it's not that the Pro is all the elusive...I'm just not looking in the right place. Thanks for the help! -D2V |

There's a new Railed Pro on Glocktalk for a good price, $2400 and a used non-rail on M4carbine for a not so good price of $2300. The used one does come with extras but the price is still too high, IMO.
If you want the links I can send them, don't know about posting them here outside of the classifieds. ETA - The used one doesn't come with extras, it did for awhile. |

in case you didn't get that last one, there's no such thing as a 1983 corvette
edit: the lead time on the pistol you seek is about 8-12 weeks, i don't think that's a shelf item unless you seriously luck out, now if you can settle for a Loaded then you'll save about a grand & probably be able to have it in hand much quicker |
