Im in the market for some good magazines. Midway has the Wilson and McCormack mags in stock and the price difference is only a couple of bucks.
Could someone more experienced in the 1911 realm recommend one or the other?

Wilson Elite Tactical are my preferred brand of magazines. Chip's are just as reliable, though.

I find my Wilson 47Ds won't consistently lock back the slide on my Loaded. No such issue with the CMC Powermags.

wilsons worked for me. CMC (shooting stars) did not. I have heard good things about powermags but wilsons, though more expensive are better designed and have better warranty coverage.

I've tried Chips before and I wasn't crazy about them, the follower design and fit of the magazine didn't really impress me. I currently use Tripp magazines in my Springfield loaded and I would highly recommend them.
