I have a chance to bid on this gun at a local auction. Near as I can figure (from info at this website: http://www.coolgunsite.com), it is all correct except for the mag which looks like WWII (CL).

Anyone have a guess as to value?

Not a collector, but I'd say if you can get it for under $1000 you're doing well.

is the barrel correct?

is the front sight original and just painted red?

is it truly a WWI long trigger?
assuming everything is correct, hasnt been refinished, and the rollmarks
look better in person than the photos,  i'd say about 1200 +\-

if it has been buffed and refinished then i'd say about 600 +/-

if it has been buffed and refinished then i'd say about 600 +/- all the roll marks look good except the horsey is light, even the 'No' and serial # look before/after finishing.

According to coolguns.com, the 'No123456' is stamped before the finish is applied and the actual serial# No123456 is applied after the finish.
