No, there wasn't a special on these The GF unit drew the short straw, so she had to go into work on the Friday after Thanksgiving. So, being the sentitive-understanding types, a couple friends and I took some black guns out to the range to celebrate Black Friday in our own special manner. I had 5 new-used CMC 8 round powermags that had to be function checked in the EDC Pro. I ran WWB, Federal AE45A, Winchester RA45T, and Black Hills blue box. All were 230gr. The Pro was recently cleaned and lubed, but I put a few drops on the barrel before shooting. So, after 40-60 rounds of each, all the mags/loads fed, ejected, and dropped fine. Having a chance to getting back on the gun was a lot of fun, especially with the great weather, sunshine, good company, and an empty range. |

Quoted: NICE!!! 7 of use went shooting on Black Gun Friday. I had to test out my Professional Operator. 250rds through it w/o a problem. also let 2 of my friends (that don't have 1911's) shoot my Custom Shop TRP, which in turn made them want a 1911. Got mine for $1525+tax (I added the rear sight, trigger and grips) http://photosbydon.smugmug.com/photos/1099073438_RFwCB-L.jpg Ok...where'd you steal that one from? |

Nice pistol, nice photography What mag/flashlight pouch is that? It looks pretty concealable. |

While I have OWB pouches that sit tighter to the body, the fact that this pouch can fit the LX2 and a spare mag makes up for any slight difference in concealability. |
