Does anyone have experience with these:
http://www.centerfiresystems.com/amc-ac45g2.aspx I'm thinking about picking up a cheap 1911 in .45, is this a good deal or should I go with RIA. I've seen a lot of positive remarks about the RIA, but haven't seen anything on the American Classic. I would really like something "GI", but the American Classic doesn't look too crazy. I'm an engineering student, so I'm interseted in cheap to get started. Next year after I graduate I'd like to build a 1911 (I already build AK's). Anyway, any coments on that paticular mode? |

Many Rock Island Armory owners over on the 1911forums.com swear by their guns. It is roughly the same price point (see Buds Gun Shop).
Just offering it up as another option for a "cheap" starter 1911. |
