I am looking for a holster that can be both IWB/OWB for my Kimber Pro Carry II. The options on many websites confuse me though because the frame of the gun is full size but the barrel is only
4 inches.

Suggestions? Opinions?

Thanks.

Don't worry about the frame, just get a holster for a 4" 1911. Maybe an Officers (is that the 4" or is it 4,5"?) Model.

I think raven can be adapted for either but I would suggest getting one of each (IWB/OWB) instead of pulling double duty.  Typically a holster that would allow both options means that you would be giving up a little of something in either capacity.

I haven't ever carried OWB but I use an MTAC for IWB and I know a lot of people love the supertuck.  A tuckable IWB holster is very comfortable and concealable (varies depending on body type).  I wear mine with everything from cargo shorts and t-shirts to my daily suit and tie for work.

Ended up ordering a IWB/OWB from Atomic Dog Holsters. Thanks guys for the help.

never heard of them until your post.  let us know how that works.  the only option i see for a 1911 is a full sized 1911 so you will have a little extra holster unless you custom ordered something.

You want a Commander length holster.  A Commander is 4 1/4 instead of 4, but you will never notice the extra 1/4 inch.
