This might be just gun shop BS, but a while back a few guys I knew said that they could rechamber a p16 .40 to a 10mm, replace the recoil spring, and be goods to go for running 10mm through the gun?

Anyone done this?  

Seems like it would be a handy woods gun.

Yes, the standard 20lb spring goes to a 24lb unit, and the chamber just gets lengthened along with the throat.

The down side is that the Para frames are on the soft side to begin with, so your not going to get the life out of the frame as if it was still chambered in 40.
