For clearing a doublefeed 1 handed, I cut the bottom of the front strap away on my G17, so I can hook the floorplate of the magazine on my belt and rip it out of the gun. Works for two handed clearing of a doublefeed, as well...

i want to do it to my 17 but i need to find a good technique before i go crazy with the dremel
