I might get a 1911 one day, and if I do I will send it to Tripp Research to get it Cobra Chromed.

Any reason not to?

If you have pics of Cobra Chromed guns it would really help.

Virgil is both a true gentleman and professional. There is absolutely no reason not to send your gun to Tripp Research. Tell him Damian said, "Hello!".

Be well!

I think you better call before sending your pistol to Virgil Tripp to get it Cobra Chromed. Why? I think he got out of the coating business about a year ago. Regards, Richard:D

I have three pistols chromed by Tripp.  All the steel on a SIG 220, same on a 92G Elite and a Glock 21.  I had four of my standard capacity mags for the Beretta chromed too.  They do really good work for a very reasonable price.
