Anyone have one? Any thoughts on them? My sister bought me one after she "borrowed" my North American Arms Guardian. |

By "borrowed" I mean took home with her... So you are having issues with yours eh? How many rounds through it? Mine made it 30rds the first time before issues came up, and 60rds after returning from the factory. Took it out today to give it another chance and out of the first magazine I had to FTE and one double feed. I love the feel of the gun and if it were as reliable as my LCP I would carry it. I hate the grip of the LCP, but it's darn bullet proof and will probably be my go to pocket gun when my S&W 340PD won't fit. |

I bought one, but it wouldn't work in my ham fisted hands at all. Every round I fired I would accidentally hit the mag release and unseat the magazine. I gave it two magazine fulls and gave up on it. My brother tried it and it worked fine for him. It's so small that my hands just wrapped all the way around it and caused problems.
I also get bit on the web of the hand by a 1911 with a standard grip safety, with a Ruger LCP the slide hits the web of my hand, and there have been several other pistols that have caused me problems over the years. So don't take my experience with the DB380 to mean a whole lot for most folks. |

Well, I put 200 rounds through it this morning. As long as it is oiled up (a drop down each of the rails) it runs fine. Even dry it ran fine. But not as smooth. I couldn't get it to stove pipe or mis-feed even when I tried (four magazines worth) limp-wristing it. I am pleased with it so far. It fed ball ammo, CorBon Pow'r Ball, Hornaday Critical Defense and Winchester without a hitch. The recoil (or significant lack there of) was an unexpected, though welcome surprise. Made it very easy to remain on target for follow up shots. |

You can read a good review here.

| I've put about 250 rounds thru mine so far. Everything good they say about the DB is true. Recoil is low, acurracy is good although mine seems to shoot low. I didn't clean mine before I took it to the range, had a few problems with my first box of ammo (PMC Bronze) and the 2nd (Magtec) but didn't sweat it as I knew breakin was going to be 'difficult' based on other range reports. I had two boxes of Winchester white box (flat nose) and NONE of that cycled reliably, approx. every 3rd round would fail to eject. last box was range reloads, no problems ejecting so the WWB was to blame for that, but did have one or two misfeeds and from start to finish the slide would occasionally stick in the rearmost position. A light tap would free it up and when it did it fed properly. It's now been cleaned properly and I plan to run a few boxes of Fiocchi & Buffalo Bore +P thru it to see if it runs better now. The tolerances on this gun are TIGHT and I hope after all this I'll have a reliable shooter, but for now that's the only bad thing I can say about this pocket rocket. I've shot a Kel Tec 3AT and Ruger LCP and I didn't care for either due to the short grip. At least I can get two full fingers on the DB and recoil is much easier to manage, and the textured front & back strap is better than most aftermarket grips. |
