i work with PBR and was hoping for some advice. I cant decide on whether to buy the Kahr P9 or the Springfield Micro Compact for my first carry pistol. What do you guys think? Also who makes some good and think IWB holsters for either? Thanks |

After my (documented) fix-it-again Ultra Compact 1911, I bought a P9 (no P40 at the time). I kept the 1911, and it's cool and all but my Kahr P9 has been solid from day one. No FTF's, no FTE's, etc. All with "factory" ammo (Winchester whitebox, Federal, and the occasional PMP). I have two Springfield 1911's, and I fall into the "not very happy but I'll keep 'em because I went through the trouble of buying them" crowd. I should have bought the Colt model 70's or 80's, in hindsight. Sorry for the rant. Go with the Kahr, you'll be happy. |

My Dad owns a Springfield Micro 1911, and I have a Kahr P9. I have shot both, and prefer the Kahr, between these two. The Kahr is easy to carry (however, I have never tried to carry the SA micro). It all depends on how they feel to YOU. But you can't go wrong with the Kahr. |
I bought the pocket holster and the Don Hume IWB holster from the Kahr website Kahr Shop I mostly use the IWB as it is easier to hide IWB and it is very thin and tight fitting. |
