OK, here's a spinoff thread.

I normally carry IWB/SOB.  This started some discussion in another thread, so as a public service to, well, us, I'm starting this to solicit opinions and experience on concealed carry methods.

BTW, I started carrying with a KelTec P11, and now have added a Springfield XD9 Service model (4" bbl) to the armory.

Keeping in mind principles of concealment and comfort, along with accessibility, what are your preferred carry methods & positions, and why?

(This would be a lot simpler if open carry was OK!)

I personally perfer strong side straight kant.  It is the most comfortable as well as accessible.  Depending on the size of the weapon you may have to alter your dress code slightly.

I have a Dillon Concealment Laptop bag in which I carry a P220 w/4 mags.  I also have a "Daytimer" type concealment folio for it.

I also have a "SmartCarry" for my Kimber UltraCarryII along w/a Milt Sparks Versa Max II.  I also have a Wilderness hand/belt pack carry thingie for hiking/biking.

IWB 1911 or Sig 220 at 3:30 or 4:00 or a 642 just about anywhere in anything.  For ultimate comfort I prefer the center console.
