Hey guys, been on the site for a while its my first post in this particular forum.
Went to the range today to run some rounds through my XD40 and my brandy new Glock-23. Did fine with the XD as I was warming up and then I went to shoot the glock. It shot well the first couple magazines but then as I was doing some 3 round shots through it with just 3 in the mag. I had maybe 3 times the glock would fail to return to battery. naturally I would tap rack and bang (if there was another round). I have had the glock maybe 4 days and with me being so used to the weight of the XD (29 oz empty) and shooting the new 23 (21.16 oz empty) maybe I was limp wristing it. I tried stiffining up my grip and wrist and didnt notice it happening anymore. Is it safe to assume that was the case? or should I be worried. Just as a note. I followed the Instruction manual and ran it with the stock grease. I was also using 2 magazines. It happened twice on one mag once on another. |

Two completely different grip angles. Your going to have to adjust your grip angle when changing guns. Which is why I no longer own a XD and a Glock. Sorry XDm.... Anyways...could be limp wristing. I have never heard of a Glock needed "broke in" so try to hold it a bit tighter and see what happens. |
