I recently purchased a Mateba and got a deal on it that most of you guys wouldn't believe even if I told you.  The guy I bought it from said that the front sight is loose and I was wandering if that is a common problem with them.  I did a Google search and I couldn't find anything out about them.  It looks like it is spring loaded somehow.  Any help would be great.

Edit:  It is a 44mag if that matters.

Yeah, seriously, how much? Some of the recent prices I've seen them going for are ridiculous.
My .357's front sight is fine, though I haven't messed with it much. Because of how the gun is setup, the front sight is the one you're supposed to just adjust as opposed to the usual rear adjustment. Maybe it's simply not tightened down enough?

Unbelievable deal on an expensive gun, owner says there's only one small problem with it...

I'm betting you'll realize soon enough why the owner sold it cheap.  Probable during the first time to the range.

I got mine for 1k, though mine is the regular blued model. Not everybody uses the ridiculously overpriced ones that have been sitting on Gunbroker since the beginning of time as an example of true market value.
Though, at less than 1k, you got a damn good deal.

I feel like a little school girl. I almost pee'd myself.  I've never even seen one of those before.
