| Othen than factory? Not sure... I generally try to only get factory mags for handguns(1911's are exceptions); they may cost a little more, but generally are of better quality I think. I could be wrong, but I believe Mecgar has a decent reputation, and may in fact be an OEM manufacturer. Others will be here shortly to help you out, I'm sure. |

Factory/Mec-Gar should be your first choice. The only after-market mags we've had good results with in our PTs (we have three in 9mm) were the old extra-capacity/constant-force-spring Ram-Line mags, and I haven't seen any of those for sale in years... Keep an eye on the EE –– I picked up five like-new Taurus factory 15-rounders there at a very good price not more than 2 months ago.
