Husband of friend purchased a Sphinx .380 from a women whose husband died - suddenly

Gun only has a few rounds shot through it.  I am going to look at it and shoot it on 4/3.

Asking price is 300 bucks.  If it appears in good shape what is your opinion on the asking price?  I know that the higher end Sphinx products can be pricey.

 Thanks

Pro: You don't see many Sphinx firearms, so it's a relative rarity.

Con: It's $300 for a .380.

The Con would win for me personally.  No thanks.

DrMark put it well-

If you collect guns, and would like to add something that the next guy isn't going to have, go for it.

If it is to be for carry or home defense, hell no.

If it is to be a plinker, then it depends how much $300 sets you back.
